Veteran Employee Surpasses 90 Years of Service!

Veteran in Customer Relations Sophie turned 91 over the weekend surpassing a milestone 90 years of service in her position within our company.

Since arriving as a puppy Sophie developed her skills over many years of memorable customer, supplier and colleague encounters. Along with a spotless attendance record Sophie also boasts personal responsibility for the increased global popularity of the Hungarian Vizsla breed as an early pioneer based in the north of England.

Sophie has now dedicated most of her life to serving Whyte & Ivory but in recent years, as she approaches her own retirement, has been focussing on training up her younger sister Lola. Lola arrived as an unruly excitable russet gold ball of fur that heavily disrupted the previous orderly state of the Customer Relations department. Through sheer patience, dedication and determination, though the boundless enthusiasm returns at first sight of a new toy or new person to play with, Sophie has managed to rein back Lola just enough to pass over her fair share of departmental duties and responsibilities.

Sophie has remained steadfast throughout her service. For this along with her unwavering commitment to our team W&I is truly thankful.
